CoH
I'm now up to level 15 ... and approaching 16. I've pretty much decided I *need* a super-travel power. The only one I qualify for at this point is Superspeed. I'd prefer something like Flight or Super jump, but I don't have the pre-reqs for these yet. Since levels aren't being very speedy lately, I can't afford to take the prereq for Flight at 16 -- I'd have to wait until 18 to get Flight, and I have another skill I'm looking at for 18. Level 20 is reserved for Stamina, which will help me with my endurance problem (I don't have enough Endurance).
So, it looks like my plan for the next few levels is:
16 -- Superspeed 17 -- 1 slot to Consume (bringing it to 6), 1 slot to Hasten (bringing it to 6) 18 -- Burn or Plasma Sheild or Taunt 19 -- Slot Options: Fire Sheild, Plasma Sheild, Taunt 20 -- Stamina
Slow Friday...
...which is very weird.
I haven't been slow in a long time. I guess it helps that I have two staff people now who I can delegate work too.
We've got some projects that we're waiting to get feedback on and some projects that we're waiting for our boss to give us, but today is probably going to be slow.
Guess I'll be hitting the City of Heroes forums today ;)

Oi.
Quite the day. I was up a bit too late last night with my newest addiction, City of Heroes. I got to work on time, but was then tossed into a maelstrom of a half a dozen people all requesting time to answer an urgent question of theirs. Oi. I finally just got things settled to a point that I can work on a deliverable for my 2:00 PM meeting today. Am looking forward to going home tonight.

Xmen
 You are Professor X!
You are a very effective teacher, and you are very committed to those who learn from you. You put your all into everything you do, to some extent because you fear failure more than anything else. You are always seeking self-improvement, even in areas where there is nothing you can do to improve.

Better now. But still slightly annoyed...
I feel better now. Had a nice quiet evening with Season 4. 4 episodes tonight -- "Something Blue", "Hush", "Doomed", and "A New Man". Definitely some good quotes in there.
The annoyed part is double-edged. FMA. It failed, as expected. 50 Nay to 48 Yea to 2 Abstain. It's the two abstain that irk me. http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=108&session=2&vote=00155#position
Edwards and Kerry. Didn't vote.
I wish there were a politician out there with the balls to say "This FMA shit is stupid. You 48 are bigotted idiots."
But instead, our future president doesn't even have the cahonas to even show up and vote "No" on the issue.
I just wish...
STOP CALLING ME
I have a fax machine who's decided my cell phone is some number it needs to call. I turned my phone off, since it's apparently on some uber-must-reach-you cycle.
I attempted to search for the number online, to no avail. I called directory assistance to see if they could back-trace the number, to no avail. So, I can't call the people and tell them to stop, either.
Grumpy Day....
I really should have stayed home today.
I'm just feeling blech. I don't want to deal with people today, and I'm getting interupted every 10 minutes. This makes it difficult to really get anything done, as well as just aggrivate the grumpy mood more.
If it doesn't improve by 1 or so, I'm going to take 1/2 a sick day or something.

Heh.
Take the quiz: "WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?"
Agnostic You've probably studied loads of different religions, but you're just not sure if any of it is true. Evolution makes some sense to you, but it doesn't satisfy you. Lastly, your personality is one of question, but you won't go out of your way to find -The Truth- It's more of a hobby.
All of the possible quiz results for this quiz:Fundamentalist Christian (You scored 0) Holy Roller (You scored 0) Average Christian (You scored 0) True Christian (You scored 0) Modern Satanist (You scored 1) Theistic/Traditional Satanist (You scored 0) Luciferian (You scored 0) Devil Worshipper (You scored 0) Atheist (You scored 2) Agnostic (You scored 3) New Aged/Wiccan (You scored 0) Pagan/Occultist (You scored 3) Discordian (You scored 0) Category Unknown (You scored 1) Via A2MacGeek
..I'm wondering which question generated the response for "Modernist Satanist". Hmph.

Plugged In...
...In other news, I bought this on Monday past:
iPod Stereo Connection Kit with Monster Cable
It allows the iPod to connect to any stereo system. Now we can jam to tunes at parties from the 5 gigs of tunes I've got. Fun ;)
So quiet....
All of my normal distractions weren't being very distracting today. Yahoo IM has no one on, e-mail has been slow, the normal work people are out.
Almost sends me into fits of insanity. Almost.
Luckily, the iPod still talks to me. Doesn't it, precious?

Vacation, please?
I'm rather looking forward to the long holiday. Work is grating.
