The Week, she be fillin' fast....
I have readings to catch up on. A 5 page paper to write. A "Quiz" (note the caps) to study for, a Party on Saturday and a possible day of Rock Candy creating on Sunday. Oh, and I have to find time to make perogi before Thanksgiving. That might have to wait until Tuesday of next week when all this school nonsense is done.

Also this weekend ...
We shopped on Sunday. Whilst doing so, I met the Devil Herself -- the woman who refused my application to late-drop a class at the U of M. It resulted, of course, in my only "F" in my college career. Still recovering from that GPA smack. Turns out, she's a regular at the church my sweetie used to regularly attend (before he nabbed an agnostic BF) and was buying some miscellany at Cost Plus.
Ah well. Alls well that ends well. Taking the big hit then propelled me forward (screaming) from Computer Science and into English. All in all, a good move.
Object-Oriented Programming be damned! Damned! Damnable damned incantation! :D

Weekend...
I had school work to do, but it eluded me.
Saturday was great - the wedding reception for Madam Form Follows Schliek was wonderful. Both Bride and Groom looked positively radiant - must have been that lovely Carribean sun ;) Good food, good chat. It was interesting to finally meet the Elf of Santa. 3 out of 3 gayboys agree - We think he pings the gaydar.
Sunday was a lazy day of Video Gaming. After a slight morning headache, the afternoon became quite pleasant as we slogged through the nether reaches of PSO Challange Mode.

CC102 (Classic Civilization) - Introduction to Ancient Roman Culture
Eng229 - Technical Writing.
I almost took the section entitled "Art and Architecture of Technical Writing", then I remembered that I never did want to be an Architect, so I should probably avoid that one. "I'm a Tech Writing Architect." I could put that on a bumper sticker, right? :D
I then looked at "Miracle Grow for your Career", but that seemed too much like a viagra spam ad. "Writing in The Real World" was tempting, too, but had a matrix-like feel ("You mean to tell me, that none of my previous essays were REAL?"). So I just stuck with the one entitled "Technical Writing."
Sometimes, less is more.
